RAFFLE DRAWN!!

The Raffle for the BMW watch was drawn after last Sunday's(25th July) club meeting.
The winning ticket was kindly drawn by Mark Owen's dad wo had come down for the day to watch Mark race.

The Winner of the magnificent watch is a local gentleman who will be presented with his prize this Friday night at the Oak Tree Arena.

Many thanks to everyone who put their efforts into selling the tickets on behalf of the club.

The club made £149.00.

Many thanks to Westerly BMW Yeovil for donating the watch for us to raffle.

 

 

RAFFLE DRAW DATE CHANGE
Wednesday 23rd June 2010

Due to the fact that a couple of members will not be present at this weeks club meeting (27th June) due to holidays, it has been decided to postpone the draw until the next club round on Sunday July 25th.

GraingerCar

The MENDIP club once again hosted a round of the BRCA Touring Car Championships. This was Round 1 of the series and despite failed attempts by the weather to spoil things at times on the Sunday, the weekend went off without a hitch.
We were again witness to just how fast these electric touring cars have become with Chris Graingers car topping 72mph down the main straight.
It wasn't that long ago that we used to think that our track was just 'too big' for the electric cars.

A BIG thank you to all the Mendip Club members who gave up their weekend to assist in the canteen and in scrutineering. We couldn't have done it without you!

MMMRC PRIZE RAFFLE

The Mendip Club are happy to announce their PRIZE RAFFLE that will run from Round 2 of the Club Championship (April 11th). The draw will be made at Round 5 of the Club Championships (25th June).

The prize is a genunine BMW 'M-SPORT' sports watch worth over £150.00 kindly donated by WESTERLY BMW YEOVIL

Tickets are £1 only and can be purchased from Val, Wayne and Mike at the club.

CLUB EGM & Round 1 of the Mendip Club Championships
Sunday 14th March 9.30am

This coming Sunday marks the 1st round of the Mendip Club Championships. Please remember that we will try to accomodate all classes providing that there are 5 or more entries in that class.

Please be aware that before the meeting there will be an Extra General Meeting to discuss, and vote on, the two vacant committee positions.
The meeting should not take too long and we intend to start booking in for the meeting at no later than 10am.

Indoor Racing

Fancy a bit of New Year Racing? Dave Leach, our club treasurer, has organised an indoor 'Fun Night' at the Cheddar Indoor Kart Track on Saturday 16th January starting at 6pm through till 9pm.
