1/8:   1st Rob McKennah = 100 points
        2nd Angelo Bruscino     = 99 points
        3rd Mike Manning         = 99 points (TQ 1 point, 3rd 98 points)
        

Round 10, Sunday 5th October

There appears to be a bit of confusion regarding the date for Club Round 10 of the Summer  Season. We'd like to confirm that this will be held on Sunday 5th October, (as it says on the calender).

MMMRC Welcomes All Electric Drivers

Following the completion of some track modifications Mendip Model Motor Racing Club would like to welcome all Electric drivers. The change to the track layout allows the uses of a short circuit which is more appropriate for Electric cars.

We look forward to holding electric heats at future race meetings

MMMRC Open Day Update

MMMRC Open Day

Well the weather for the open day might not have been as in the photo, but we did enrole a few new members  and a great deal of interest was shown by the visitors we did have.

Entry is FREE for the day, visitors only pay for track time at £2 for the day
All children have to be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Section update, the Weather and Video sections now consume RSS feeds to help keep the site uptodate. The Weather uses an rss feed from the BBC Weather Center, so this has the latest up to date information when you view the page.

The Video section uses an rss feed from you tube where the videos are hosted, a user account will be constructed to allow club members to upload their videos and they will then appear automatically on our site, as if my magic (smoke and mirrors really) There is still a bit of work to do here, so check back periodically for new features.

Several section have been added to the site to cover, the basics, About us as a club, membership, site facilities. Also sections for the classes of car we race. More detail and information in these areas to follow.

The results section is now up and running, The Winter Season results will be posted up after the next round on 3rd Feb. For now we have the pages as generated by the race control software, we will explore the possiblilities for exporting the data from the race control software in a different format so we can tailor the way we present the data in the results section to suit our particular needs.

The MMMRC 2008 Calendar can now be found in the Events section section which has been updated. Currently this just shows events a the Mendip circuit. Events at other curcuits will follow in the next day or so.

The Events can be viewed per Month, as a List  or Individual y.
