AWARDS

Some awards which were achieved by K.H. Kurniawan:

  1. 1987, successfully constructed the first high power pulse laser in Indonesia.

  2. 1989, constructed the first master-oscillator power-amplifier of nitrogen laser in South East Asian, received first award from the 2nd Asean and Science Technology Week in Manila, Philippine.

  3. 1992, successfully constructed the first high power pulse carbon-dioxide laser in Indonesia, receive budget from Indonesia Government to construct the first excimer laser in Indonesia.

  4. 1993, constructed the first excimer laser in Indonesia used for plasma generation spectrochemical analysis.

  5. 1997, using high power Q-switched YAG laser, generated the laser plasma using soft-samples. Understanding the effect of sub-target in the plasma generation of soft samples. Received a research grant from Indonesia Department of National Education through World Bank for 3 (three) years. Received a research budget from Indonesia Ministry of Research and Technology for 3 (three) years.

  6. 1997, received the Best Young Researcher Award from Indonesia Institute of Sciences (LIPI).

  7. 1998, received an award from Indonesia Department of National Education for his international publication.

  8. 1999, received an international sandwich budget grant from Indonesia Department of National Education through World Bank for one fiscal year. Did an experiment of laser plasma generation under irradiation of high power pulse transversely excited atmospheric carbon-dioxide laser.

  9. 2000, thin film deposition using laser plasma technique. Received a research budget from Indonesia Ministry of Research and Technology for one year in thin film deposition technique. Received a research budget from Indonesia Ministry of National Education for Domestic Collaborative Work with University of Diponegoro for one year.

  10. 2001, received ITSF Science & Technology Award from Indonesia TORAY Science Foundation (ITSF).

  11. 2003, member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and is entitled to use the designatory letters MRSC.

  12. 2004, received a grant from Third World Academic of Sciences (TWAS).

  13. 2007, received a research grant from the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS).

  14. 2007, fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and is entitled to use the designatory letters FRSC.

  15. 2011, 1 among 6 prominent scientists in Indonesia based on Islamic State Confederation Country.

  16. 2013, 1 of 6 Indonesia prominent scientist from SEA EU net, South East Asia European Union.

Since 2011, MMM has research collaboration with Bina Nusantara University through Research Interest Group on "Photonics and Computer Systems".

Since 2018, MMM has research collaboration with Electrical Engineering Department of University of Pelita Harapan.

Since 2019, MMM has research collaboration with Electrical Engineering Department of Krida Wacana Christian University.
